We’re calling on all exemplary electrical apprentices to nominate for this once in a lifetime opportunity to win an all-expenses paid trip to London as the ETU’s Youth Delegate at the Global Power Trade Union Congress.
Do you know a young sparky who could be a contender for "Electrical Apprentice of the Year"?
Are you an electrical apprentice who could blow the competition away?
Do you hold to strong union values and could represent Australia to the world?
If this sounds like you or someone you know, then we encourage you to apply for 2018 ETU National Apprentice of the Year.
We’re calling on all exemplary electrical apprentices to nominate for this once in a lifetime opportunity to win an all-expenses paid trip to London as the ETU’s Youth Delegate at the Global Power Trade Union Congress.
You will also spend an additional week with Britain’s largest union, Unite the Union, to gain valuable insight into the UK’s union movement, learn about different aspects of your trade and how Vocational Education and Training (VET) operates outside Australia.
If learning more about the global electrical trade appeals to you; if getting an insight into how trade unions operate in the United Kingdom gets you fired up; if an all-expenses paid trip to London sounds like fun, then we encourage you to apply!
Download the application form and start working on the selection criteria.
Entries close Friday 18 May.
Please forward applications to admin@etuaustralia.org.au and should you have any questions please contact the ETU National Office on (02) 9663 3699.
